How to Restore Data from Raw Drive

Hello all! Recently I went through a situation that makes me to feel vanished. Yesterday, I have tried to open my SanDisk ultra || and I found that it is corrupted. I tried repair tools and get a command prompt error stating that “Disk is on Raw Partition now” and shown the following,

Total space: 448 GB

Space available: 448 GB

I’m worried because I have Windows 10 Enterprise in it. Can anyone please help me out by raising a solution? I’ll be waiting…

Let’s see some scenarios when hard drive will go RAW

  • Severe Virus – Virus is treated as harmful activity to make hard drive RAW and cause data loss which is stored in it
  • File System Corruption – This will occur when you try to convert logical drive file type. This makes your partition RAW and formats all files
  • OS crashIf operating system crashes suddenly that result in making your drive RAW

Useful Tip

If you create multiple logical drives on your hard drive, then there is no loss of data because you can format only C: drive and install it with new operating system. So, your files on the other drives won’t be affected.

Don’t feel frenzied if you are facing any one of the above situations because from next paragraph of this page will guide you about a solution.
